Cantina de Frida
OPENFrida was named after the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, whose passionate nature and strong will to live served as an inspiration for this one-of-a-kind restaurant, inviting people to sing and dance, enjoy the great food, and celebrate life.
The restaurant is located at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, in the so-called Concrete Hall (Beton hala) and it is divided into two parts, seating up to 120 people. Apart from Mexican and Argentinean dishes, menu also includes Spanish and Mediterranean specialties.
We recommend experimenting with the dishes this restaurant is famous for, such as BROCHETAS DE LOMO CON CEBOLLA ROJA (grilled skewers with beef tenderloin and red onions), FRUTOS DEL MAR A LA FRIDA (hot colorful dish with shrimps, salmon, squid, and cherry tomatoes), and T-BONE ASADO (veal steak). Restaurant is open every day from 11:00 to 02:00 and hosts some of the best music bands in town.
